Baby Cakes seems to always be doing something cute when

I have the camera, but the other day Fuzzy Bucket really outdid herself

(which is saying something!)

I came into the bathroom and Fuzz was under the rug

I waited for her to come out, but she did not so I took another picture of her under the rug

And then I almost missed her making her escape.

Moving On

Now that my relief printing class is over, I have several projects that need completion.
I attended a great workshop given by my friend Pamela, and we wrote cinquain poetry. I offered to make books with the poetry, and two of the attendees accepted. These are the books that I created. They are triangular accordian books, wrapped in wrapped pipe cleaners.

This is the book on the left, opened out.

Revised Chine Colle

This is the revised purple chine colle, trimmed and with a wrapped

pipe cleaner added. More additions will be forthcoming

Off to see my Mother this weekend, so no posts from me for a while!

Here are the final prints from my relief print class. We were working on Chine Colle, but my results were not what I expected. I tried using fabric on all of them, and I think that was part of the problem. I like the process, and will have to work on the fabric angle.

Rainbow Artist's Meeting

I am rejoining a group of artists called Rainbow Artists.

We made collage tonight, and I went totally unprepared! All that I had was a sheet of copy paper, magazine pages and some gloppy Elmer's glue! Not bad for making do!
