Artful Sunday

I know, it is not artful sunday, but these are the cutest cats! And they are not only in the same room, but laying side by side on the same bed! That just doesn't usually happen
We had an artful Sunday at my house today. We had potato soup, fruit salad, cheese and bread, and cinnamon leaf ring for dessert. We made Zentangles, and Jan is the only one who finished hers (bottom right with the yellow highlights).

It always amazes me that we all start out with the same idea in mind,
but they all turn out so differently. Lots of fun!

A huge storm blowing through Albuquerque last weekend.
It snowed and looked like stryofoam pellets!

Catch up post

Wow, I did not realize that it had been so long since I posted last! Anyway, it is Friday morning and I do not go to work until 11:15, so I am making a catch up post with new images.

L's beautiful Christmas gift hanging in my new french doors! It looks great L.

A present I bought myself at the State Fair this year. I love this lady's work and buy it whenever I can afford it!

Came into my studio and found Studio Cat (aka Baby Cakes) taking it easy. Next picture is a closeup of her polydactyl claws.

January means Juliana Coles (meandpete producitons
has her Journaling Jam at her Enchanted Journal Pavilion in Albuquerque. I won't share a lot, but here is the results of a positive and negative ( I wish I had.... or I wish I hadn't) journal spread.

This is my past, present, future mandala page

Work continues on the online class, but Juliana has so much to say that it is going slowly! But everything she has to say needs to be said, so I need to be patient with her soulwork!

New Year, new decade

Icicles have always fascinated me since childhood. This particular
one was very impressive, but not very large!
New Year's Morning, shortly after sunrise, we walked
the heart Labryinth at Casa Del Sol. Dennis and Billie walking to the site.

Sylvia and Joe walking

Joe and Carol walking. Carol was leading the way, as you could not see the rings!

As we near the center of the labyrinth

Returning to the edge

You can see how deep the snow is.

This made a very pretty design in the snow
Prayer Flags fluttering in the COLD wind

The view looking east from the Heart Labryinth to Casa del Sol

Joe, Sylvia and Carol at the Heart Labryinth sign

Joe, Sylvia and Shari (do we look cold??)

small outbuilidng at Casa del Sol

Another view of Cielo Vista (not sure of the name...)
