Studio Cat strikes again - twice

I can see my studio cat, Baby Cakes plopping down on this apron for womyn(s) work
but what attracts her to a box with a map in it? The inscrutable cat. I have to tell a story on her, every morning she comes running into the bathroom and plops down in the bathtub. My schedule got a little off, so I had already filled the tub when she came in and jumped into the tub full of water! You should have seen the look that she gave me... Nothing but her pride was hurt and she spent about 15 minutes shaking and rearranging her paw and tail!
Just for a little variety, here is the bedroom cat, Fuzzy Bucket, all cuddled up on my bed! If I had known I was going to take pictures, I would have made my bed better!

Happy Mother's Day Weekend

This is my fatso catso studio cat relaxing in the jungle window. She loves the sun. I could not find the other studio cat, or I would take her picture too.
On Saturday, I went to The Placitas Studio Tour. Again great art, and I bought myself a Mother's Day present.
I found these water prisms, and thought I deserved one! You can see them here

This is one of the prism reflections on my new batik fabric. I just had to have this yard of fabric and the reflection only adds to the fabric.

Saturday night another friend and I went to the opening at the Albuquerque Museum of Art. It is a "New light on Tiffany" exhibit. The stained glass, panels and light fixtures were gorgeous. If you get a chance, see the exhibit.

Sunday my son called to wish me a happy Mother's Day and gave me a gift certificate to have a massage! So my Mother's day weekend was very satisfying!

Catch up post

Wow, I did not realize that it had been so long since I posted last! Anyway, it is Friday morning and I do not go to work until 11:15, so I am making a catch up post with new images.

L's beautiful Christmas gift hanging in my new french doors! It looks great L.

A present I bought myself at the State Fair this year. I love this lady's work and buy it whenever I can afford it!

Came into my studio and found Studio Cat (aka Baby Cakes) taking it easy. Next picture is a closeup of her polydactyl claws.

January means Juliana Coles (meandpete producitons
has her Journaling Jam at her Enchanted Journal Pavilion in Albuquerque. I won't share a lot, but here is the results of a positive and negative ( I wish I had.... or I wish I hadn't) journal spread.

This is my past, present, future mandala page

Work continues on the online class, but Juliana has so much to say that it is going slowly! But everything she has to say needs to be said, so I need to be patient with her soulwork!
