Great Day in Santa Fe

We are so lucky living only 67 miles from Santa Fe! Six of us took off today and went to the Roundhouse. There was a SAQA show at the Capitol, and they blew us all away! Fantastic work, and all so different. We all picked out a different favorite quilt, and enjoyed talking about techniques, etc. Three of us were quilters (two rather traditional, and ME), and three artists, but non-quilters/fabric people.

There is also an astonishing amount of fantastic art just hanging in the halls!
We went to lunch at the Pink Adobe, and had great food and an even better dessert. I highly recommend it for lunch or dinner.
On the way back to Albuquerque, we stopped at a show opening in Bernalillo, and then had dinner at the Range Cafe!
All in all, an inspiring day.

I came home and worked on the Altered Book Round Robin, and here are the pictures. The theme was Girls Gone Bad, and I used several quotes, two tags, fiber, and a library card pocket.
